Participants obtain in-depth information and instructions for increased accuracy and effectiveness of treatment planning. Great attention is given to providing a comprehensive understanding of the applications of the system and how to apply them clinically. Highly trained professionals with extensive clinical and academic backgrounds deliver these lectures and hands-on practice. After the completion of the course, the participants will have a greater understanding of the Anatomy Modelling, Beam Modelling, Connectivity Module, Dose Module and Evaluation Module and their application in a clinical setting.
The Oncentra Treatment Planning software is the standard software installed on a PC platform for various types of radiotherapy treatment. The course concentrates on the latest version of Oncentra Treatment Planning software. It offers an in-depth introduction to the software and teaches the participant how to use it for treatment planning. If a user participates in individual module courses such as IMRT (DM Module) they can focus on the specific aspects of that software module. The 5-day course combines lectures and hands-on practice sessions with feedback and evaluation.
