The IBU-Digital consists of a dedicated X-ray imaging system and a brachytherapy patient table. This system is fully DICOM RT compatible, providing seamless interaction with Nucletron’s Oncentra® treatment planning system.


Increased Accuracy in Dose Delivery by Verification

The superior design of the IBU-Digital ensures patient comfort and optimal imaging results. The rotating system enables 360º unobstructed digital imaging from any direction, and it enables quick verification of the position of the inserts with respect to the target volume. The IBU-Digital ensures greater accuracy as the patient does not have to be moved during the entire treatment process,. During surgical procedures or treatment delivery, the L-arm of the IBU-Digital can be parked to optimize better access to the patient.

The IBU-Digital allows an entire brachytherapy treatment in one single room and in one single session. In-room visualization and control of imaging and treatment planning provides the required information at the precise moment needed. The IBU-table is specially designed for imaging in both surgical procedures and brachytherapy treatments.
