More than 250 hospitals and clinics have migrated from PLATO to the Oncentra Dynamic Planning Environment. If you haven’t migrated to Oncentra yet, here are some reasons to start now.

1. Faster contouring. Customers who have made the switch from PLATO tell us that Oncentra cuts anatomy modeling time in half.
2. Streamlined applicator modeling. Simply drag-and-drop the applicator from the Oncentra Brachy library. Smart tools in Oncentra speed brachytherapy planning and shorten the wait time for patients.
3. DICOM connectivity. Modern radiotherapy departments have to be connected to many systems. Customers tell us that Oncentra has one of the best DICOM implementations in the industry.
4. No loss of PLATO plan data. You may have years of plan data that you want to keep. We provide a migration tool that converts PLATO plan data in a single action.
5. Continuing incentives. Financial incentives to migrate continue in 2010.
6. PLATO end-of-life nearing. Service for PLATO officially ends with 2011.
