Veenendaal, 13th August 2003 – Nucletron BV has announced that it has renewed its worldwide distribution agreement with Elekta for providing simulator systems. These simulators are sold by Elekta under the trade name PreciseSIM® and incorporate Elekta’s Precise Table. The renewed agreement, which runs for 5 years, means an expansion of Nucletron’s business with Elekta, as Nucletron will be providing installation and maintenance services for PreciseSIM®. “The renewed agreement will further strengthen the already successful partnership with Elekta, which started in 1998. Nucletron will now take on the installation and service activities for PreciseSIM®, which ensures Elekta long term access to high quality simulator solutions for their customers.” said Rudolf Scholte, CEO of Nucletron. “Our renowned Simulix® simulator products have established our leading position around the world with over 1,000 installed systems, and we continue to invest in technology like the digital flat panel detector incorporated in our new Simulix EVOLUTION™ simulator.
