Veenendaal, The Netherlands – Nucletron is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. E. (Bert) H. de Groot as Managing Director of Nucletron B.V. Mr. de Groot will continue in his current position as Chairman of the Executive Board of Delft Instruments, the parent company of Nucletron. Mr. de Groot is 57 years old and joined Delft Instruments in 1998. He studied Informatics and Economics at Amsterdam University. Prior to joining Delft Instruments he was employed by Getronics N.V., as a member of the Group Executive Committee and General Manager of the sector Office Information Systems. Mr. de Groot replaces Mr. R.L.J. Scholte, who has left the company after nearly 5 years, having successfully steered the company through this period, which included the acquisition and integration of the Oncentra™ Software Solutions business acquired from MDS Nordion in February 2003. Mr. Scholte is leaving the company for personal reasons. Mr de Groot will assume responsibilities until a permanent successor to Mr. Scholte will be named. About Nucletron B.V.
