European Oncentra Brachy Best Practice Workshop

June 13 2010  |  June 15 2010

Valencia, Spain   |  Global    -   Nucletron events   |  Seminar

Exciting innovations in the field of brachytherapy are providing opportunities to enhance the quality and efficiency of cancer patient management.  Key trends, such as the evolution from 2D to 3D imaging and planning, provide new standards of practice for HDR and PDR brachytherapy.

Such changes also require new technology solutions to address the needs of the radiotherapy department.  Oncentra Brachy, a new Treatment Planning System, has been developed by Nucletron as a replacement for PLATO, and has been designed to meet both current and future demands for advanced imaging and planning techniques.

Against this setting, Nucletron is pleased to announce an important event.  The European Oncentra Brachy Best Practice Workshop will be held from June 13-15th 2010 in Valencia, Spain.  This meeting, comprised of a combination of key note addresses, plenary discussions, and hands-on workshops, will provide a major opportunity for medical professionals - physicians, medical physicists, technicians – to learn about and share insights around key developments in modern brachytherapy imaging, planning and clinical techniques.

Nucletron and the Scientific Committee look forward to welcoming you in Valencia.

Further program details will be made available shortly. To register early interest or for questions, please contact your local Nucletron representative or send an e-mail to events@nucletron.com.
