The Martinez Endometrial Applicator was developed in cooperation with Dr. Martinez at William Beaumont Hospital, Detroit, MI, USA. For treatment of the endometrium this applicator has two diverging tandems with a slight curve. A vaginal cylinder is attached for extended treatment into the vagina. The applicator is easy to insert and is an alternative for the Heyman Packing technique, giving a more controlled dosimetry.


This applicator is specially designed for treatment of both the cavum uteri and the upper two thirds of the vaginal mucosa for endometrial carcinoma patients.
