Oncentra IHE Integration Statement 

As an independent treatment planning system vendor, Nucletron is actively participating in the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise initiative for Radiation Oncology (IHE-RO).

IHE-RO has been initiated by clinicians in order to ensure interoperability between different vendors’ applications, as in routine use, currently there are several issues blocking a smooth workflow in the clinic, even though systems involved are conforming to the DICOM standard for exchange of medical data.

From the first days of IHE-RO, Nucletron is playing an active role in the development of the IHE-RO profiles and Technical Frameworks. At the same time, Nucletron has been making the Oncentra treatment planning system fully compliant with the IHE-RO profiles, showing its’ commitment as a truly open, independent vendor of treatment planning solutions.
